Aiding Natural Healing
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive, painless therapy and can be combined with other treatment methods to fight infection and aid healing.
The patient breathes pressurized pure oxygen which allows the lungs to distribute higher levels of oxygen to tissues throughout the pet's body.
Increased oxygen levels within the tissues help reduce swelling, fight infection, and stimulate new blood vessel formation in damaged tissues.
The Hyperbaric Therapy Process
Patients are placed in a large, comfortable clear plastic chamber. As they relax, a pressurized flow of pure oxygen is pumped into the chamber. Simply breathing the pressurized oxygen gives your pet's body the boost it needs to optimize healing. Treatments take 1-2 hours and are usually repeated twice daily.
